"Like taking a vacation without leaving home—feel that good"

About Kathy

Kathy Grede sailed around the world in her favorite yacht 'Kanani', a Passport 45. She also sailed the South pacific for three years in her 36’ Columbia, “Ramblin’ Rose”. With sixteen years of a live aboard yachting lifestyle, living aboard 3 yachts, there are many stories to be told--adventures, storm and pirate stories and many people and in many cultures to share. Kathy’s extensive travels have taken her to 58 countries by car, train, bus, boat and plane. She has visited every state in the USA except Maine.

Kathy has owned multiple businesses, ranging from Masterplan, Inc. an interior design firm with offices in the Pacific design center, to firms in sales, marketing and manufacturing. She sold books door to door for two summers while in college. Kathy also had the privilege of working for Adventures in Achievement promoting Jim Rohn’s personal development seminars for an entire year before her marriage. While living in Hawaii she started a boat canvas business that continued during her three and a half year cruise around the world. 9/11 was Kathy’s last day working for Xerox as ‘Color Specialist‘. She chose to pursue her dream of making people feel and look “that good” and became an esthetician in February 2004. In January of 2006, Kathy added massage to further her passion by developing her gift of touch in ever expanding ways.

In 1975 Kathy earned her AA degree in Interior design and went to Ambassador College for a degree in Theology. Through the years Kathy has pursued her education and love of art by taking classes at Azusa Pacific College, University of Hawaii, Leeward Community College, and Long Beach State as well as having private art classes in South Africa and Dana Point, California. Over the years, in pursuit of personal development, Kathy attends seminars, lectures and listens to many personal development CDs.

Changing her focus, Kathy attended Flavio’s Beauty College and earned her Esthetician license February 2002. Kathy continued taking graduate classes in esthetics at The Conservatory of Esthetics. Through classes like Hot Stone Treatments, Body Polishing, Reflexology and Wraps, Kathy discovered her passion for massage and wanted to develop her God-given gift of feeling hands. Then, in January 2006 Kathy went to yet another school, California College of Bodyworks and Massage and is now a licensed massage therapist.

One of the greatest joys in Kathy’s life is to relieve pain and make people feel “relaxed, wonderful, floating and balanced”. She is a person of many joys, her three beautiful grandchildren and the many hobbies she enjoys: painting, pottery, gems, jewelry making, real estate investing and healthy nutritional cooking are but a few.
